Pricing & scope
How do fixed prices stay fixed?
The estimate is signed before we start and it doesn't drift. Every project lists its revision rounds up front (1–2 per deliverable), feedback happens inside a 5-business-day window, and anything outside the signed scope gets a written quote and your sign-off before work begins. No surprise bills, on either side.
What's included in the three project tiers?
The Sofrito ($2,500) is the brand foundation: logo suite, palette, typography and texture, menu and social templates, and a brand voice guide. The Plato ($5,000) adds a fast, menu-first website plus photo and content direction with local SEO. La Mesa ($7,500) adds a launch campaign, your first content batch, and 30 days of hands-on support.
What is NOT included in a project?
Photo shoots, paid ad spend and ad management, and ongoing content retainers aren't included in the one-time projects. Anything you need beyond the written scope is quoted as an add-on before it starts — an extra location, a second-language menu, a new sub-brand, or a rush deadline.
Do retainers require a commitment?
Yes — retainers have a 3-month minimum and are billed monthly. Content is delivered in weekly batches and every post goes through your sign-off before it touches your channels. Retainers are on the waitlist right now; when a spot opens we communicate early and clearly on the rhythm and how planned time off fits the calendar. You can cancel with 30 days' notice.
Process & timing
How long does a project take?
The Sofrito takes about 3 weeks, The Plato about 4–5 weeks, and La Mesa about 6 weeks plus a 30-day support period. Retainers run month to month. Timelines slide if feedback slips past the window, but the price never slides.
How do payments and milestones work?
Project payments split 50/50: 50% to start, the balance on final delivery. Every invoice triggers on a written event — never a feeling. Retainers bill month to month. Final files release only after the final payment clears.
Do you work with existing businesses or only new ones?
Both. A rebrand or reset is a Sofrito-class project, and existing restaurants, trucks, salsa and sauce makers, and packaged food brands all fit the retainers. If you're not sure you fit, a Sofrito Session gives you a clear yes or no — you keep the plan either way.
Can I try a session before committing to a project?
Yes. The Sofrito Session is a 75-minute one-on-one for $400: we read your brand, answer your questions, and hand you a written action plan you keep even if you never hire us. Money-back if it isn't worth it, no questions.
Who it's for
Who should hire Sofrito Studio?
Independent food businesses — restaurants, food trucks and pop-ups, salsa and hot sauce makers, pantry brands, and specialty packaged food. You're a fit if you'd rather pay for honest direction than a glossy brand book, you have a launch or rebrand this year, and you can make a decision in a couple of weeks.
Who should NOT hire Sofrito Studio?
Anyone who just wants a cheap logo, who expects a brand alone to make sales, who wants AI-run content with no human review, or whose business isn't food. We'll tell you that up front instead of taking your money.
Proof & guarantees
How can we trust you without a wall of testimonials?
We don't post invented quotes or fake growth charts. The proof is the studio's own live rebrand — this website is a Sofrito Studio deliverable, receipts included — plus concept work that's clearly labeled as concepts. Real client results will appear here only with their written permission.
What happens if a project isn't working after launch?
Every project includes refinement rounds, and La Mesa includes 30 days of hands-on support. If a delivery misses, you don't pay for that step. What we won't promise is specific sales or placement numbers — we commit to craft, honesty, and delivery.
